8 Arrested After Car Fire And Fight With Police

Boise police found a situation out of control when they responded with firefighters this morning to a car fire with flames some10 to 15 feet in the air near a house and a fight was taking place in the doorway to the home.
Eight people, four adults and four juveniles, were arrested. One officer was allegedly punched by a 16-year-old boy who appeared to be intoxicated.
Additional officers were called to the scene and they helped control the situation. A dozen people were evacuated from the home.
Police said the cause of the fire appears suspicious and fire and police investigators are looking into what happened.
