Adam Dees Charged With 3 Counts Of First Degree Murder
Ada County prosecutors have charged Adam Dees, of Nampa, with three counts of first degree murder. The Ada County Prosecutor made the announcement after Dees was indicted by a grand jury.
In March, police found the bodies of Ted, Elaine and Thomas Welp at their Cartwright Road home.
The grand jury indictment states 80-year-old Ted and 77-year-old Elaine were found bludgeoned and shot in the head. 52-year-old Tom was found bludgeoned "on the head, stabbed in the neck and shot in the head with a 9 mm pistol."
Dees was arrested at a Boise area Best Buy after he tried to buy merchandise with a stolen credit card from the Welps.
It has not been decided by prosecutors if they will pursue the death penalty.
