As we get closer to the end of the college football season, the Boise State football team is closing in on the Top 25.
The Broncos, who have appeared in the Top 25 for 8 straight seasons but not yet this year, tied for 28th in voting for The AP Top 25 and 29th in voting for the Amway Coaches Poll.
The Broncos who are looking to make it to the Mountain West Championship have won five straight games and are 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the Mountain West.
Florida State replaced Mississippi State as No. 1 in both polls.
Among those trying to position themselves for the Group of Five berth in a New Year’s Six bowl, Marshall is No. 18 in both polls and Colorado State is No. 22 (AP) and No. 23 (Coaches).
