Boise Woman Arrested On Drug And Injury To Child Charges

Gia Rose of Boise was arrested Tuesday night on felony drug and injury-to-a-child charges after police say they found drugs and a filthy, dangerous home. Six children ages 3 to 16 were found in the house, near Five Mile Road and Fairview Avenue. The five children who lived at the house were placed in the care of state Health Department workers; the sixth child was released to the custody of a parent. Detectives say that all of the drug-related items they found were within reach of the children. Police say there was food and garbage throughout the house.
