Broadway Bridge Closes

The Broadway bridge will be closed beginning Monday, Jan. 4, until the fall of 2016. Broadway Avenue will be closed from Cesar Chavez Lane to Myrtle Street.

The Idaho Transportation Department is replacing the Broadway Avenue Bridge and improving the roadway between University Drive and Front Street.

The The ITD will reroute motorists to the Parkcenter Bridge. Greenbelt users will also be rerouted, with detours clearly marked. The Greenbelt detour north of the Boise River will have a dedicated lane on Myrtle Street near Julia Davis Park. Bicycles and cars will share the lane on the Greenbelt detour south of the river.
