Fire Crews Battle 2 Alarm Blaze

Ada County dispatch received a call Sunday afternoon at 4:30 for a fire on North Marcia Place off West Edna Street, near McMillan and Maple Grove in West Boise. According to a Boise Fire officials, none of the residents of the duplex were home at the time of the fire, the person who reported the fire saw smoke coming from the eaves.
Firefighters responding to the fire called a second alarm and quickly, but smoke and heat did considerable damage to both residences. The Boise Fire Local 149 Burnout Fund and the American Red Cross will help residents of the duplex locate a place to stay and obtain basic necessities.
