It’s the big Boys and Girls Club FREE Community Day, starting at 10 a.m at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. There’ll be bouncy houses, walls to climb, pony rides, and Dart Zone’s going to be there, too. They’re also going to be giving away one very sweet 1960s Mustang. Every year, I think I’m going to win the Community Day Car, and every year I try to be cool about not winning. But I’m not cool about it…I want that Mustang.

Historic Bown House Tour

Bown House Riverside Elementary Campus, 2100 E. Victory Road, Boise
Joseph and Temperance raised seven children in the home they built in 1879. When the local school burned down, Temperance held school there, too. Diaries of those who walked the Oregon Trail mention the elegant home with its widow’s walk and over 200 acres of ranchland. Idaho Songwriters Celebration Concert
