Investigators from the U.S. Army Safety Center from Ft. Rucker, AL continue to review the scene of a deadly helicopter crash that killed two members of the Idaho Army National Guard.  The wreckage will be transferred to a hangar at Gowen Field where further investigating will take place.

The Ada County Corner has ruled that blunt force trauma caused by the helicopter crash was the cause of death for the two pilots.  Governor Butch Otter has ordered that flags be flown at half staff Wednesday and Friday to honor both men.

Pilots Stien Gearhart and Jon Hartway continue to remembered as heroes and patriots by loved ones in the Treasure Valley.   Funeral arrangements have been announced for both Guardsman.

 Funeral services for Chief Warrant Officer Gearhart are scheduled for Wed., Nov 12 at Eagle Christian Church with interment at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.

Funeral services for Chief Warrant Officer Hartway are scheduled for Fri., Nov. 14 with interment at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery to follow.
