Kellen Moore has retired from the Dallas Cowboys according to multiple published reports.  Moore began his NFL Career as an undrafted free agent who earned a spot as a backup quarterback with the Detroit Lions.    The Prosser, Washington native overcame his physical limitations by impressing the Lion Coaching Staff with his 'football IQ' and his work ethic.  Moore was released by the Lions following a coaching change and was picked up by the Dallas Cowboys in September 2015.

Although Moore has 50 college football games, he was 0-2 as an NFL Starter.  He was released and resigned this year by the Cowboys.  The former Boise State Bronco finished the season on the practice squad.

They also released their quarterback coach, Wade Wilson, a former longtime starter in the league today, according to the Sporting News.  Moore is expected to replace Wilson according to reports out of Dallas.
