With Thanksgiving just days away, the Boise Rescue Mission is in need of 5,000 turkeys to feed Treasure Valley Families. The BRM receives no government funding to serve over 1,000 meals a day. KIDO Talk Radio's Kevin Miller is living at the Wal Mart on Garrity and Franklin in Nampa till this Saturday at 6 pm.

Miller is collecting turkeys, cash, non-perishable food items, and clothes at the Wal Mart. Miller's Mission is in its eighth year of helping to make a difference. If you're new to the Treasure Valley and looking to make a difference, we need your help.

The Treasure Valley is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. Affordable homes continue to disappear as more and more people move to Idaho. The Boise Rescue Mission helps veterans, women, children, people recovering from addiction, and the working poor. Please consider joining us at the Wal Mart on Garrity and Franklin in Nampa. Kevin Miller will be living there till this Saturday at 6 pm.

Thanks to KTVB's Larry Gebert for his support and coverage of today's first day of Miller's Mission.
