Ada County Sheriff Deputies say a man's body was discovered inside the garage area of a burned home on North Black Cat Road late Thursday night. Firefighters and law enforcement officers worked to put out the blaze and investigate the suspicious fire after it was reported around 11:30 p.m. Firefighters say the home's long driveway forced a water tender to respond because no fire hydrants were available in the area. It's not clear if that complicated the firefighting efforts. The home is described as a total loss. Deputies with the Ada County Sheriff's Department spokesperson says the cause of the fire is suspicious, and investigators are treating the home as a crime scene. No other victims are thought to be inside the home or garage. As for the victim's identity, deputies say they've got leads, but can't positively identify him yet. The cause of the man's death has yet to be determined.
