The Ada County Sheriff's Office is searching for a motorcycle rider after a package that fell off his vehicle turned out to be full of methamphetamine.
Witnesses say they saw the motorcycle sped by them on Amity Road between Eagle and Locust Grove at about 9 a.m. last Friday. They say the rider was going about 80 miles per hour.
Ada County Sheriff's deputies verified the bag contained 72.5 grams of meth, or nearly three ounces. Witnesses say the motorcycle appeared to be a sport bike, but they didn't get a good look at the driver. Anyone with information should call Ada County Dispatch at 377-6790.
