Simplot Plans a $100M Beef Processing Plant Near Kuna

J.R. Simplot Company and Caviness Beef Packers announced have partnered to build a $100 million beef processing plant near Kuna.
Construction on the 300,000-square-foot plant is expected to begin this spring once permits are approved. The new plant is expected to create up to 600 new jobs and to open in fall of 2016. The company did not provide an exact location of the new plant.
