We’ve all rolled our eyes at one time or another as TV creators liken their work to “a 73-hour movie,” especially when it devalues the episode as a medium. Breaking Bad in particular has many standout hours that couldn’t function any other way, but some lunatic fans have now recut all 62 episodes into one two-hour film, and it … kind of works?

We’ve had a year and a half to let Mad Men’s contemplative, even historical ending sink in. Don Draper found at least some measure of peace, and almost immediately returned to work to channel that into a soda commercial. Don’t expect that leopard to have changed his spots, however, as even Jon Hamm thinks whatever enlightenment Don found wouldn’t have lasted.

The third season of Better Call Saul couldn’t help leaning into the announcement of its biggest Breaking Bad cameo to date, but don’t think stars Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul will ever stop teasing their own returns. The latter even suggests that Jesse Pinkman might already have shot a Season 3 appearance, but how?

The Walking Dead has plenty of ground to cover when Season 7 picks up again in February, so is there time to introduce another community? Invested as we are in learning Jimmy McGill’s Better Call Saul past, few can deny the curiosity of our brief trips in to the post-Breaking Bad future with “Gene.” It looks like we’ll be spending a little more time in the aftermath of Walter White’s demise, according to the first Season 3 photos, along with a look at the McGill brothers’ war.

It’s been some time since Better Call Saul closed out Season 2 with what seemed to be explicit reference to the biggest Breaking Bad-die, and Season 3 hasn’t started slippin’ teases of Jimmy’s return just yet. That said, creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are all but confirming that Breaking Bad fans will have “several” familiar reasons to check out next season.

Whether or not The Walking Dead justified its Season 7 guessing game by the reveal of Negan’s victim(s!) this past Sunday, few would argue the sequence itself reached a disgusting new height of gore effects, practical and otherwise.
