Friday to Friday
Heading into the gorgeous days of Indian Summer, it seems a person would need a healthy dose of music…and maybe a few fast cars. The Treasure Valley seems happy to oblige on that one, with more free concerts, a couple of nifty car shows, and five days of the the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic.
Grab whatever time you can with friends and family, and don’t forget to make plans now for the Roseberry Ice Cream Social, coming up next weekend. If you’re looking for more Idaho fun, check out the Appetite for Idaho Facebook page, and get yourself a copy of the new Appetite for Idaho book, with Idaho stories you’ve never heard before, guaranteed.

Aimee Mann and Ted Leo have tons of musical experience, but it was Twitter that brought them together…over the mistakenly spelled hashtag of #dumbie. Now their folksy, edgy rock melodies fill the air, and they’re still laughing together over more #dumbie stuff, as well as writing some very cool songs.
