It was a beautiful warm Boise Memorial Day Weekend, but one natural place to cool off wasn't available (and remains so today). The Boise River is in dangerous condition.
The scenes of disaster and loss in Houston, he Texas Gulf Coast, and Louisiana are heartbreaking. It makes you wonder what it might be like if we ever dealt with similar flooding.
No doubt, one of the best parts of the Boise area is our outdoor recreation, and the Greenbelt is certainly at the top of the list. After flood damage, repairs are kicking into gear.
It seems like it’s been a looooong wait, but the 11 miles of previously blocked areas of Boise's Greenbelt are now open!! With all the flooding concerns over the last few months, the warmer weather and holiday season feels like the perfect time for this to happen
