You might remember back in March, we told you about a program that the City of Boise was starting to help put the homeless to work. It's worked so well that it's growing.

As the weather starts to change and temperatures drop, Boise's Interfaith Sanctuary is expanding their hours to better serve families in need during the cold of winter.

Over the last year, the City of Boise closed down the homeless encampment under the Connector (and next to the Interfaith Sanctuary). Now, some are returning to the area.

Tuesday 08/09/16.. Kevin devotes the entire show to helping Boise Rescue Mission Ministries raise funds, supplies and awareness to get through the rest of the summer. Interviews with staff and people who have turned their lives around with the help of BRM ministries...

For 58 years, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries has made every effort to be cost-efficient and wise with the income our generous community provides, but we are currently experiencing a large deficit. Every day, we have over 400 homeless men, women and children depending on us for safe shelter, meals and assistance...

A few years ago, I lost my job and could not find work.  For the first time in my life, it hit me that I would be homeless if my situation did not improve.  I've never forgotten that lesson and wanted to find out how the homeless live.

Miller's Mission begins Monday, May 23 as we move into the Walmart on Garrity and Franklin in Nampa.  Your donations will make a difference in the lives of Treasure Valley children this summer.  We invite you to bring your spare change or other cash amount to our Nampa location...

Day 5 of "Miller's Mission". You still have time to help Boise Rescue Mission ministries, which has shelters throughout the Treasure Valley. "Miller's Mission" comes to a close Saturday evening at 6pm.

580 KIDO's Kevin Miller is on day 4 of his week long permanent stay at the Wal Mart on Garrity for Millers Mission, to help aid the Boise Rescue Mission. There has already been a huge push with generous donation of turkeys, warm clothing, canned food and even cash for the Boise Rescue Mission and their need for assistance this harsh winter season...

Day 3 of  “Miller’s Mission”.  Kevin is broadcasting his show all week from WalMart at Garrity and Franklin in Nampa to raise funds and gather turkeys, plus other food items and warm clothing for Boise Rescue Mission ministries.  Interviews with mission employees, volunteers and a few who were "rescued" by the mission.
