Man Blames Putin After Police Pull Him Over for Speeding: WATCH
As the crisis in Ukraine rages on, one American is putting the rush in Russian by blaming Vladimir Putin for his own speeding habit.
On Tuesday (March 1), the Flagler County Sheriff's Office in Florida released police footage of an unnamed man who was pulled over for speeding on Feb. 24, the same day Russian forces began invading Ukraine.
The police officer first questioned the man about why he was allegedly speeding at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. The driver also allegedly ran a stop sign while speeding through the residential neighborhood.
"You didn't even see me sitting there," the officer told the man after pulling him over.
The driver apologized to the officer, sharing that he had been distracted "looking at this thing," seemingly pointing to his dashboard with a cell phone on it.
After the anonymous man gave the officer his license and registration, he explained that he was rushing home to find out more about the news regarding what he believed might be a potential nuclear strike from Putin.
"To tell you the truth, I just found out that Putin has just said he is going to launch a nuclear thermal war against the world," the driver told him. "I was trying to get back to my house to find out what is going on."
"I'm freaking out here, okay. I have got people in Ukraine," he added.

We don't know what happened to the driver or if he was issued a citation or not, but hopefully his loved ones are safe.
