Boise Airport Reveals How Parking Just Got a Whole Lot Easier
In a significant milestone for the Boise Airport and the City of Boise, the eagerly anticipated East Parking Garage has officially opened its doors. This new addition, part of the airport's ambitious multiyear capital expansion project, is a 5-level parking garage that offers 1,135 additional parking spaces to meet the growing needs of travelers and the community.
The Boise Mayor, Lauren McLean, shared her excitement about this in a recent Instagram Reel. She emphasized the importance of adequate parking for both locals and visitors, particularly traveling families and people who travel for work.
She said, "Not having parking spaces is something that many families and people traveling for work have experienced. And so this means 1,100 more of us that show up and are like where's the parking? There's now a whole bunch more parking."
The mayor's words echo the airport's commitment to ensuring a seamless travel experience for all. The East Parking Garage not only caters to business travelers but also provides convenience to families eager to explore new destinations together.
This expansion aligns with Boise's vision of creating more opportunities for everyone, whether it's for work or leisure. And in that same Reel the mayor says...
"We want to make sure that people have opportunity here — that they can get in for work and they can get out for work — and also that families have the opportunity to get out and go see their family and go see other places together and have it be as smooth as possible."
With ample parking now available, travelers can embark on their journeys with ease, knowing that their vehicles are secure and accessible upon their return. The opening of the East Parking Garage represents just one of the many upgrades to come.
