It’s becoming increasingly difficult for small businesses to endure huge costs lately. It seems like many businesses continue to struggle with high overhead costs and a lack of workforce.

A Popular Ice Cream Shop Is Shutting Its Doors... For Good

The post-covid world hasn't been kind to small businesses and now, we're saying goodbye to another business that served up ice-cold joy that looked as good as it tastes.

In a post to their Facebook, Bite Me Bars announced this past weekend would be their last weekend open. The post highlighted how the ice cream shop served up scoops of happiness for the last three and a half years:

"Bite Me was the beginning of a new era for me. It’s been a blast! The people being the best part. I have absolutely loved the last 3.5 years of smiling faces!"

The post continued with a look to the future which makes the closure a little bit easier for us to process:

It’s time to move on to new ventures and more free time though. :)

As with running any business, it can be time-consuming and it sounds like the owner(s) are excited about having some extra time on their hands.

Who knows? Maybe we'll see Bite Me Bars make a return sometime in the future but for now, it's goodbye.

Bite Me Bars was located at 3869 N. Garden Center Way and at the time of this writing, there is currently no word on what business will move into its place next.
