Putting Idaho Women First

During the month of October, Saint Alphonsus, in partnership with local radio group Townsquare Media, embarked on a journey to inform and uplift Idaho women aged 40 years and older with a "Pinky Promise."

The promise was simple, yet profound: put yourself first. Prioritize your health and safeguard your future by getting a yearly mammogram.

If it doesn't run in your family, are annual mammograms really necessary?

Regardless of family history, yes. Early detection is critical. When found early, Idaho women have a wider index of treatment options to explore and greater chance of survival.

Mammograms are more than a medical procedure.

Mammograms are a profound act of self-love for women over 40. These screenings are not just medical procedures; they're a testament to the deep love and connection we share with our bodies and those who cherish us.

By making the "Pinky Promise" to prioritize mammograms, we honor our well-being and help secure the beautiful moments and relationships that define our lives.

Best Friends & "Pinky Promises"

While we acknowledge and promote breast cancer awareness during October, the "Pinky Promise" is more than a trend. It's the hope that Idaho women will take action and control of their health year-round, and inspire their best friends and the women around them to do so the same.

Results-Townsquare Media Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon Presented By Jerry's Auto Sales - September 28 and 29, 2023

Result-Townsquare Media Sioux Falls is helping raise money to help fight childhood cancer during our annual Radiothon.

Sadly, more than 11,000 children will be diagnosed with various forms of cancer this year. Instead of being able to just be a kid, these children will be learning about the serious experiences of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and hospital or clinic visits.

The mission of Cure Kids Cancer is to help children's cancer centers, like the one at Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls, find life-saving treatments and eventually cures for children's cancer by raising funds and awareness.

The money raised through the 2023 Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon stays in the Sioux Falls area.
