Boise State is Taking It Back to 2007 On The Field This Weekend

Boise State had the internet upside down this week. A big win at Western Michigan, a launch into the AP Top 25 rankings, all of this combined making for a pretty awesome few days for the team and their local fan base.

What's next?

The Broncos rolled out another fire uniform lineup for their inaugural game in the Pac-12 Conference against familiar foe, Utah State.

With the Aggies on their way to Boise, the Broncos will be honoring the legends of the 2007 Fiesta Bowl and dressing up in that very fashion.

The announcement came byway of Boise State Football's social media accounts:

The tough photo of a current player, along side some of the best of 2007's 'relics' made for a wildly popular image.

'It's Beautiful', wrote one respondent on Twitter (X).

If you're old enough or a fan enough to remember back to the 2007 'era', you'll recognize a lot of these things. The massive gold trophy from the legendary Fiesta Bowl victory, the jersey designs, the Sports Illustrated cover images, and even the COVER ART for the popular EA Sports NCAA Football video game.

It was an iconic run and twenty years later, the Broncos have got to honor those roots.

Expect to feel a little nostalgia when the Broncos hit the filed this weekend wearing an 'old school logo' on their helmets, the blue and orange bronco with 'Boise State', below the head.

We can't be the only ones that miss this logo...right?
