Fundraising Event to Benefit Victims of Boise Hanger Collapse
If there is one thing that we know about the Treasure Valley, it's that if there is a need, a cause, or an effort to be pushed--we rise to the occasion. Going into this weekend, many local business owners and organizations are hoping that once again, the city can rise up and help.
On the evening of January 31st, tragedy struck at the construction site of a privately owned hanger near the Boise Airport. In the structure collapse, three lives were lost and eight workers were severely injured. The pain felt by families of the victims spread throughout the community and now local business owners are hoping that we can come together and help those who are still dealing with the ramifications of the incident.
Set to take place on Saturday, March 2nd, a dinner featuring both live and silent auctions will take place at Banbury Golf Course from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
