Pride Month is almost here in Boise and Idaho, and as usual, we're exciting! It's such a fun time celebrating our LGBTQIA+ friends and family, there are always plenty of smiles, and of course...lots of happy couples.

So, with Pride Month right around the corner, there's something we'd like you to know:

Gay marriage is legal in Idaho, and has been since October 15th, 2014.

That is correct. In case you heard some bad information, or aren't keeping up with the times, that's ok. Let us set the record straight.

In the case of Latta v. Otter, the District of Idaho found the bans on same-sex marriages unconstitutional. That means, yes, gay marriage is legal here!

If you're a man, and want to marry another man, you legally can. Same goes for women. Same goes for non-binary folks, bisexual folks, you get the idea. If you love someone in Idaho, and they're of age, go marry them!
