As the Treasure Valley painstakingly counts down to the premiere of the Bar Rescue episodes they shot earlier this summer, some of you wonder just how long they’ll last after their episode airs.

But before Boise’s big run on Bar Rescue, the Treasure Valley was all about Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Boise is home to some amazingly talented chefs and restauranteurs. I have no doubt these 5 Boise Chefs could Beat Bobby Flay with their signature dishes, if given the chance.

Fans of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives know there are certain foods that Guy Fieri HATES. Knowing that, here's where we would avoid sending him in Idaho.

Bottom line is...there are a lot of restaurants around that Guy would enjoy. That's why for today, I'm changing Idaho's name. It's not longer Idaho, it's now...Guydaho. And Guydaho's capital is Flavortown.

The Chef is not afraid to talk tough to get the best out of his owner-operators.

The Food Network's Diners Drive-Ins and Dives is bringing Guy Fieri back to Idaho to film another show.
