They say everything is bigger in Texas.  Well when it comes to controversies, this one is a big one.    You know the old saying, "don't mess with Texas?"  Well, this incident could be titled don't mess with a breast feeding mom as the pool.

Officials in Texas City, Texas have promised to retrain municipal workers after a mom was kicked out of a public pool for breastfeeding her baby. The incident occurred Sunday at the Nessler Family Aquatic Center, where Misty Daugereaux was feeding her 10-month-old son, Maxx, reports ABC 13.
"I had a small slit in my top, so I slid it over so he could nurse," Daugereaux says. After a lifeguard and the pool's manager "told me I had to cover up, follow the rules or leave," Daugereaux called the police -- who came to the pool and made her leave. After Daugereaux posted her story on Facebook, more than 3,000 protested outside the pool Monday. Naturally, that prompted a response from Texas City Mayor Matthew Doyle, who said, "We apologize to Misty Daugereaux as it is clear she was offended by how she was treated at our city facility. City policies and procedures will be reviewed and revised as deemed necessary.
Any deficiencies regarding our employee’s actions will be addressed with further training.  Which begs the question, "Why is it illegal for a woman to go topless -- unless she's breastfeeding? Have you ever seen anything like this at your neighborhood pool?
