Not everyone enjoys going for a drive, but many actually find it quite nice and enjoyable. In fact, some would say going for a nice drive is even therapeutic. If you're someone who enjoys driving, then you've stumbled into a great spot, because we're going to share with you the best scenic drive in Idaho.

But open roads, beautiful views, and some good company, music, or podcasts... That's a recipe for a good drive right there! But, where is the best scenic drive in Idaho?

There's a recent article from Stacker that shares each state's "must-drive" road, and the one road in Idaho that everyone should drive down at least one time is...

Mesa Falls Scenic Byway

The Mesa Falls Scenic Byway is a beautiful route located in eastern Idaho, specifically in Fremont County. It offers stunning views of two magnificent waterfalls, Upper Mesa Falls and Lower Mesa Falls, as well as the surrounding natural landscapes.

How long of a drive is it?

And the views are absolutely incredible. I've personally driven the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway many times and can vouch for its scenic beauty, especially during the Summer and Fall. You will see amazing views of the Snake River, forests, meadows, and winding rivers.
