Caldwell is quickly becoming one of the coolest parts of the Treasure Valley and now, things are looking even brighter in the beloved Idaho town.

A Vote Is Coming To Enhance Downtown Caldwell

Some might groan at the idea of a town like Caldwell growing in popularity and that's understandable. When you love something before it gets popular, it can feel like it's "yours" in a way - like a personal connection.

Then it happens.

That once near-and-dear-to-your-heart thing that was all yours is now getting attention from everyone and it doesn't feel so intimate anymore. You essentially have to share something you considered awesome before others... with other people who had no idea it was awesome to begin with.

But don't worry - Caldwell's newest enhancement will only add to the aura. There won't be any massive construction changes, or as far as we know, changes to traffic!

What's Being Voted On To Come To Caldwell?

Thanks to the amazing folks at Idaho News, we learned that a vote will be held on March 17th to approve the installation of a 14-foot by 7-foot double-sided LED display at Indian Creek Plaza.

Now, we don't know about you - but this sounds awesome.

Imagine catching a Boise State or Vandals game on that thing. Add the fact that you're in one of the coolest parts of Caldwell and you have a winning combo. It's not just sports either, but the screen can be used for a variety of other reasons, including highlighting upcoming events, what's happening at the shops in the area, and so much more.

What do you think of Caldwell's potential new addition? Do you think it's a good idea?
