LOOK: See Where Gangs Are Operating In Idaho With This Map

Idaho is still one of the safest places to settle down and raise a family. Idaho in 2024 might be busier and growing, but shout out to our law enforcement for enduring the population boom and keeping us safe.

Bad things can happen anywhere

Considering how safe Idaho is, it's important to remember that bad things like crime can happen anywhere. You could live in one of the safest corners of the country and someone could still have the urge to do something they're not supposed to.

There are plenty of resources out there on how to stay safe and protect yourself in Idaho but we came across one tool that we found interesting - a map of gang territory in Idaho.

We came across the post on Reddit and when we dived in, we were mesmerized. Funny enough, if you were to just scroll by the map, you wouldn't notice anything. But, if you click the map like we did you might be shocked at some of the areas gangs are allegedly in control of.

Who made this map?

The map was created using Google Maps and appears to have been created by a user who goes by "Alex_tries" and was shared by Reddit user u/AudienceGlum4094 in the r/hoodmap subreddit.

Knowing that we have to take the map with a grain of salt as it's not "official."

Still, this information came from somewhere so we have to believe there is at least an ounce of truth in this map. The map was also posted just three months ago so it's still relatively "current."
