HAVE YOU SEEN HIM? Suspect Stole Car In Meridian, Now On The Run
Getting away from the police is pretty difficult these days, especially with all of the technological advancements that have been made to help officers.
For some suspects, getting away sounds easy at first but police somehow always find a way to track them down.
This Suspect Could Be A Tricky One To Identify
In a post shared on social media, the Twin Falls Police Department shared that a vehicle theft took place last Monday (3/17).
"On Monday, March 17th, Twin Falls Police Officers attempted a traffic stop on a stolen Chevy Tahoe out of Meridian," Police said in the post. "The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed, due to safety concerns with heavy traffic, officers terminated the pursuit."
"Minutes later, the vehicle was found abandoned nearby."
Police did their best to track down the suspect by setting up a perimeter and even utilizing the skills of a K-9 but unfortunately, there was no trace of the suspect.
Police were able to obtain a photo from a security camera but because of the angle it was taken, it's hard to make out any specific traits of the suspect.
Here's a look at the vehicle that was stolen.
These photos don't give officials much info but we're hoping there is someone in the community who knows or saw something.
If you have any leads or info that can help police, they're asking you call them at (208) 735-4357.
