Moscow, Idaho. Alleged murderer Bryan Kohberger is facing four counts of first-degree murder and a felony burglary charge following the gruesome murders of Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, and Ethan Chapin.

PHYSICAL & VIRTUAL stalker

UPDATE. Recently, detectives from the Moscow Police Department confirmed the suspect had surveilled the victims' off-campus residence as many as 12 times prior to the murders.

But Fox News reports Kohberger also stalked the college students virtually.

In seizing control of Kohberger's Instagram account, authorities learned the alleged murderer had followed Madison, Xana, and Kaylee's Instagram accounts.

Of the four victims, only Ethan Chapin's IG account was private. Each of the female victims, however, were quite active on the public Instagram accounts they maintained.

While none of the girls followed Kohberger, officials discovered the suspect had open numerous IG accounts under different aliases. According to People Magazine, he had repeatedly messaged Kaylee Goncalves, but received no reply.

He slid into one of the girls' DMs several times, but she didn't respond,' an unnamed investigator told the outlet. 'Basically, it was just him saying, 'Hey, how are you?' But he did it again and again. —People Magazine
