A doorbell video that surfaced in the Magic Valley recently has some residents a bit spooked. While it might be just six weeks from Halloween, visits to southern Idaho front porches dressed in full feline All Hallows' Eve regalia before fall officially begins might be a gamble.

'Alex. I'll take things that might get you shot for five hundred, please.'

Obviously, I kid about the gun talk. There was a similar comment made, though, from a Magic Valley Rants and Raves member named Cody on Sunday (September 13) regarding the man who showed up in the afternoon off Filer near Twin Falls High School.

Man Shows Up At Twin Falls Home On Sunday In Cat Costume

Theories on the R & R website ranged from questioning his sobriety and singing telegrams to early trick-or-treating and innocent pranking. The homeowner shared the video and warned area residents about the visit.

Let's not get too hasty over this yet. Actions have consequences. That's why there are eye holes in doors and talk-back features on door cameras. The 'shooting first, asking questions' thought process isn't always the best idea.

He could have been on his way to a furry gathering and walked up to the wrong home.

8 Annoying Things That Really Need to Be Illegal in Twin Falls

I love living in Twin Falls. Despite the numerous rants on social media, Twin Falls is unlike any other city. But that doesn’t mean I think Twin Falls is perfect.
