Officials at Caldwell Freshman Academy say five students got sick at the school Tuesday morning after one of them shared prescription drugs with four others. According to KTVB, Caldwell Superintendent Tim Rosandick did not have an update on the condition of the students, but said he hoped they would all be OK.
Two of the students had to be transported by ambulance to the hospital and three others were picked up by their parents. Rosandick was unsure what type of drug was taken or exactly where the student got it.
