Bill and Hillary Clinton have been an institution politically, socially, and culturally for over over 40 years.  That's a long time in for anyone to be relevant in public life.  Equally the legendary singer, Billy Joel has been an international institution by entertaining the masses since the 1970s.  Now the worlds of the Clintons and Billy Joel collide and one of them gets booed.  Even for a legendary performer like Billy Joel, it's a pretty big deal when a former U.S. president shows up at a concert. Joel made this clear Thursday when he learned Bill and Hillary Clinton were in the crowd at Madison Square Garden; after greeting them from the stage, the starstruck singer dedicated a song to the former first couple. But Joel's fans clearly didn't share his enthusiasm.

After the Clinton's introduction, a small smattering of cheers quickly morphed into deafening boos. The couple took the New York-style welcome in stride, doing what politicians do best: They simply smiled and waved.  Hillary Clinton has long been rumored to be looking at another run at the White House in 2020.  Could this reaction impact her decision?  Could we see Hillary endorsing one of the current Democratic Presidential Candidates?   Does it make you uncomfortable to see someone get booed like that? What would you do if you were on the receiving end of such a strong negative reaction?
