Famous Idaho Comedian Announces Coming Back to Boise in 2023
Ryan Hamilton, born and raised in Ashton, Idaho, is most notorious for his one-hour special on Netflix, "Ryan Hamilton: Happy Face." According to his website, “He’s been named one of Rolling Stone’s Five Comics to Watch, and recent appearances include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, and opening spots for Jerry Seinfeld as well as Gad Elmaleh at Carnegie Hall.”
Yesterday evening, Ryan posted on Facebook about his upcoming tour dates — the caption reads...
"Running to ya. Boise, SLC, Minneapolis and many more to be announced in 2023. Lots of new material to share with you. The shows have been so fun lately. Thank you for being amazing audiences! Looking forward to it!"
Last time we wrote about Ryan, it was under very unfortunate circumstances, as he was tragically hit by a bus in Salt Lake City around this time last year — he was posting about canceling his upcoming shows etc.
In fact, aside from changing his profile picture and announcing his new tour dates for 2023, that was his most recent Facebook post.
Canceling/rescheduling shows in 2022 was a huge bummer for both Ryan and his fans, so I'm very glad to see 2023 is going to be a full year for him! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ryan and attending a few of his shows, and the dude is absolutely HILARIOUS.
When he announces specific dates for Boise, make sure you pick up some tickets! Ryan puts on a family-friendly show that usually has jokes about the unique experiences of being raised in rural Idaho.
