If you ever encounter someone who says that graffiti is "vandalism", show them Freak Alley. Sure, graffiti art could probably be considered vandalism depending on where it is at. But, every now and then, you have to acknowledge the hard work and sometimes "creativity" that these artists show off.

But wait, we're not condoning vandalism

Here's your waiver: we're not saying to go to your nearest hardware store to pick up a few cans of spray paint and go find somewhere to create your "art." What we're saying is that there is a time and place for graffiti art and a recent video posted to Reddit captured one of those "wrong places" in Boise.

In a video posted to Boise's Reddit by user u/Juggalo702, we see a train passing through the Treasure Valley with a vulgar message for anyone who is lucky enough to catch a glimpse.

So, maybe it's not exactly the encouraging message we randomly need as we go about our business driving around town. But, you have to admit that it stands out and gets the point across. One has to wonder who the message was for or if it was intended for anyone who just so happens to read it. The mysteries of life, people.

You never know what you'll see roaming or passing through the Treasure Valley... and it's okay to appreciate the "art" that comes with it.

Speaking of Freak Alley, What Did It Look Like 10 Years Ago?

The art work in Boise's legendary Freak Alley rotates on an almost annual basis, so it's cool to see photos from YEARS ago. We found these in a YouTube video from 2013.
