Are The Boise Boys Really Back Together For A New Show?

Are the Boise Boys back? According to the Timber + Love website, the answer is yes, but if you read between the lines, the answer isn't so clear.

According to an article by the Idaho Press, Luke Caldwell and Clint Robertson are about to launch a new television show. Their third attempt to become design megastars has yet to have a name or a network. It will likely be on a free streaming service through their own YouTube or Roku channel.

Caldwell and Robertson became partners in the Boise-based Timber + Love and quickly pitched their reality show, "Boise Boys," to HGTV. After just two seasons, the show had run its course, and they teamed up for "Outgrown," which lasted one season. By the time "Outgrown" was airing, Robertson had already moved back to Texas, where he's from. Caldwell bought Robertson out of Timber + Love in 2020.

While Luke Caldwell seems to crave the spotlight and the draw of being a celebrity, Clint Robertson doesn't seem so enamored with it, even though he has the most television experience. In 2010, Clint was the runner-up on Season 10 of former President Donald Trump's hit reality competition, "The Apprentice."

Clearly, Caldwell knows that former viewers of "Boise Boys" and "Outgrown" want to see them together. Still, it appears that Robertson will have little involvement in the new streaming show that will soon be available for free. According to the Idaho Press article posted to the Timber + Love website, the new show will follow Caldwell's business, which Robertson is no longer involved with. It also says it will focus on design decisions and have more tutorials for do-it-yourselfers.

In previous interviews, Luke said he would like his show to show more of his life at home with his family. Time will tell if this is the vehicle that will finally help him become the start that he's always wanted to become.

With Robertson's seemingly limited involvement, perhaps this will be the vehicle that finally helps Luke become the star he's always wanted to become outside of Clint's shadow.
