There is a new ice cream destination in the Treasure Valley and when they opened up for business on Thursday morning, the shop already had a crowd waiting for them!

The anticipation around welcoming Handel's Ice Cream to Idaho was running high in Eagle on Thursday morning!

The energy at this grand opening in the morning was absolutely stellar!

For many, Handel's Ice Cream was a familiar name and brand. Perhaps because there was a location where they grew up, lived before Boise, or had visited while on vacation someplace.

For others that have never tried it, the opening of a Handel's in the Treasure Valley welcomed a whole new opportunity to see if there is an ice cream that they love!

Handel's offers dozens of flavors.

We were able to check out the location before it was open for business and after sampling just two of their many flavors, the Blueberry Cheesecake and the Banana Cream Pie, we're convinced that Handel's really is a special spot for ice cream! Both were delicious!

By the time that the afternoon came around, things got mellow at Handel's and there were no longer big crowds.

Perhaps everyone is waiting for their Saturday grand opening weekend party? There will be exclusive deals released and a chance to try as much ice cream as you would like--without needing to bring pillows and blankets!
