Now It's GM's Turn! Thousands of GM Vehicles Recalled in Idaho

Perhaps you thought you could get away with it.

Maybe you thought you were being slick.

Well, not slick enough, it seems.

If you thought your vehicle was going to be the one that isn't being recalled in 2025, you're probably out of luck. If you drive a GM vehicle, you're even more probablyier out of luck, pal. Sorry.

ANOTHER recall? What the hell is happening?

Honestly, we're not sure. However, a lot of vehicles have been recalled here in Idaho so far in 2025, including:

Keep in mind, it's not even May yet, and tens of thousands of vehicles have already beein recalled.

This time, the recall goblins have their crosshairs aimed directly at the dome of GM. More specifically, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC. It seems it's a whole platoon of recall goblins, as GM is recalling over half a million vehicles, many of which were sold and are being driven here in Idaho.

That includes:

Cadillac Escalades
Chevrolet Silverado 1500s
Suburbans
Tahoes
GMC Sierra 1500s
Yukons

Yikes. It's a lot. Apparently, it's something to do with a crankshaft component problem, which sounds really unsafe. So, if your vehicle is on the list, you're going to want to make an appointment with your dealership.
