Police in Idaho Release Official Information About Shooting Victims

You’ve probably seen the names and heard their stories. Three innocent victims killed in Twin Falls after a man opened fire at the recently opened In-N-Out restaurant. You’ve heard about at least seven other victims who were injured and are recovering at the hospital or at home. We’ve heard about heroes who tried to help others at the scene of the shooting.

We’ve also heard a lot of false information. We’ve waited for an official announcement or update from law enforcement, and that update came today. The Twin Falls Police Department announced in a press release the names, ages, and hometowns of each person killed by the shooter.

Idaho Police Shooting Update: 10 Families Directly Affected By This Tragic Incident

Many people have been looking for a way to ease the pain of those affected directly by the shooting in Twin Falls. A vigil is being held in Twin Falls to remember the victims and join together as a community. Fundraisers have been created to raise money for the families of the victims.

Today we officially learned from the authorities the names of the three people who were killed and that seven others were injured, some with critical injuries. Police released the names of those killed, asking the public to be respectful of the privacy of the victim’s families.

• Dale Schultz: 66-years-old from Salt Lake City, Utah
• Christopher Claunch: 59-years-old from Hagerman, Idaho

The investigation is still active as law enforcement learn more about the crime and the shooter.
