There's a lot of craziness going on in the world and it seems like our police have had their hands full more than ever. However, police in Idaho can chalk up a huge 'W' for their efforts by putting away ten individuals accused of committing some serious offense.

A massive drug ring in Idaho

Multiple agencies teamed up to bring down a massive drug ring that was operating right here in Idaho. According to their press release, the case was primarily investigated by the Idaho State Police and the Drug Enforcement Agency. They did, however, get some help from Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office, Twin Falls PD, Jerome County Sheriff's Office, Jerome PD, and several others.

The investigation led to the eventual arrest of individuals moving methamphetamine and cocaine through Idaho from Arizona and California. According to police, they seized over 30 pounds of methamphetamine.

“DEA stands with our partners in the Idaho State Police and law enforcement around the state to stop criminals and hold them accountable,” said David F. Reames, Special Agent in Charge, DEA Seattle Field Division in the press release.

“The Magic Valley is safer today because of our cooperative efforts.”

Because the suspects are facing federal drug distribution charges, they'll all have a mandatory prison sentence depending on the amount of drugs distributed. According to police, a maximum prison sentence can "range from up to 20 years to life in federal prison."

We extend a huge thanks to our law enforcement for putting the work in to keep these drugs out of Idaho. Here's a look at the ten suspects who were indicted on drug charges.
