Boise Music Festival Performer Wins BIG at the CMT Awards

Feel free to get your tickets now because they're going fast. On Sunday, April 2, the CMT Awards were held in Austin, Texas. The CMT Awards is a fan-voted show for country music videos and television performances. It's the only fan-voted award show for country artists. 

Country music newcomer and Boise Music Fest performer Jelly Roll walked away from the CMT Awards with more hardware than anyone else. Jelly Roll, the rapper-turned-country singer, now has three CMT Awards.

The tattooed "Song of a sinner" singer won male video of the year, male breakthrough video of the year, and digital-first performance of the year. After winning his third award, Jelly Roll tried to hide his emotion, thanking the country radio industry for accepting him and the country music community for standing with him. 

He also had one of the night's best performances with his new single to country radio called "Need a Favor." His performance was incredible, and with his choir and energy on stage, we are very excited to have him on the Boise Music Festival Stage this summer.
