It's one of the best series of shows you can enjoy in Boise and unfortunately, one of the major performers at this year's Albertsons Boise Open won't be attending.

Prayers for a speedy recovery!

The Albertsons Boise Open has had some amazing performers over the years. This year includes or included performances by Jon Pardi, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Dary Hall.

Unfortunately, Daryl Hall won't be performing his Friday, 8/23 show following an announcement on his Facebook page.

Daryl Hall felt ill during his show last night in Vancouver, which resulted in canceling the rest of his set after three songs.

Unfortunately, he tested positive for COVID and will have to cancel the Albertsons Boise Open on Friday, where he was scheduled to perform.

Daryl feels horrible about having to cancel and would like to think the many concerned fans for their well wishes.

Hall, 77, is known for his time in the legendary duo, Daryl Hall & John Oates who first debuted in 1970. Since then, the duo has separated and have had a well-publicized feud, resulting in a lawsuit.

While we'll likely never see Hall & Oates performing together, here's to hoping we'll get to see Daryl Hall return to Boise for a memorable performance.

It's important to note that this isn't the first time an artist had to back out of the Albertsons Boise Open due to health issues. Back in 2021, a member of the band REO Speedwagon caught COVID and they were replaced by Sammy Hagar.

There's no telling if we'll see a replacement for Daryl Hall at the time of this publishing, but regardless, we're praying for Hall's health and a speedy recovery.

It's important to note that your tickets are still valid for golf but if you have any concerns, you can direct your ticketing questions here.
