Have You Seen ‘Hawk Tuah’ On The Streets Of Idaho?
This year has been wild and one for the books. From historical hurricanes to the downfall of celebrities, many unexpected things have been showing up on our bingo cards.
Among those unexpected 2024 moments is none other than the viral meme that we all know as "Hawk Tuah."
The Girl Behind The "Hawk"
You might know the story already but in case you don't, Haliey Welch AKA "Hawk Tuah Girl" earned her nickname when she went viral on the streets of Nashville.
She was asked a question about sexy time when she gave her now-viral response.
And thus, "Hawk Tuah" was born and sparked memes across social media with Welch capitalizing on the moment.
Some have criticized the attention Welch has drawn from her viral moment while others have embraced the viral sensation.
As a matter of fact, Welch has used the power of her fame to collaborate with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CMFT) to form Haliey Welch's Paws Across America.
“Ever since my life changed so publicly, I realized there had to be a reason for it,” Haliey says on her foundation's page.
“Growing up, the one constant in my life was my pets and they helped me get through so much. By starting Haliey Welch’s Paws Across America, my newfound financial blessings will be shared with the animals that need it most.”
"Hawk Tuah" Invades The Streets Of Idaho
One of our good friends, Quentin Maloney shared a photo that proves the "Hawk Tuah" craze is alive and well in Idaho.
Apparently, someone loves Haliey's "Hawk Tuah" so much that they threw it on the back of their ride.
Kudos to the person behind the plate for getting clever with the number two! It's a fun way to ride through the Treasure Valley and as we can see here, it definitely draws some attention.
Did you get a chance to hear Haliey's sit-down with Bobby Bones? If you didn't, you're in for a treat... and you'll see there's more to Haliey than "Hawk Tuah."
