One Of Idaho’s Most Populated Areas Makes List For Highest STD Rate

People often associate Idaho with farming, mountains, and remote living. As a matter of fact, one of the best small mountain towns in America is actually right here in Idaho.

When it comes to farming, we're all aware of Nampa's sugar beet factory and the amazing aromas that come from it.

Then we get to our state's capitol, Boise. The City of Trees is known for many things including the breweries, the beautiful Green Belt, and of course, our Boise State Broncos who are having one of the best seasons in recent memory. Boise even made the list for being one of the top college towns in America for 2024.

You can come to Boise, enjoy the scenery, grab a drink, and catch a game... but that's not all you might catch when hanging in Boise.

Boise makes a list we shouldn't be proud of...

A recent report revealed the top 100 cities with the highest sexually transmitted disease (STD) rates in the country and... you guessed it - Boise made the cut.

If it's any consolation, Idaho wasn't the only state to have a city make the list: Utah, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, and yes, even California made the list as well.

Let's take a look at Boise's STD rate and where it ranks against other states... does this change the way you view Boise?

At least Idaho doesn't have as many states on the list as states like California or even Oregon and Utah... right?
