More Unwanted Idaho Critters Are Invading Homes in the Boise Area
Why does no one talk about the bug problem in Idaho? If there's no snow, it seems to get pretty bad around here. I'm from here, and it seems like it's getting even worse. What do y'all think?
As of lately, especially if you live in the country, or maybe newly-built subdivisions in the area, there's been an uptick of pest problems...
What pest are increasing the most this time of year?
Yep, you guessed it – August has brought along its own set of challenges, and they come in the form of very unwanted house guests – flies and mice.
I guess this is a recent nuisance to me because earlier this week I was taking out the garbage, barefoot of course, and I stepped in a bunch of mice droppings!
I know! And they were right on our freakin' front porch. Gross, and frustrating to say the least. On top of that, I spend a lot of time in the backyard with my dogs, and I’m starting to notice way more flies than usual.
Seems like August is playing host to more than just sunny days and BBQs. Our countryside is turning into a playground for these annoying little pests.
And as we transition to Fall... it's only going to get worse. Time to gear up, seal those cracks, and maybe invest in a fly swatter or two. Let's show these critters that Boise homes are meant for humans, not for sharing with four-legged and six-legged pesky critters.
