A Truck That’s Popular In Idaho Is Being Recalled
Finding out that your vehicle has a recall on it can be a real pain in the you-know-what. You have to figure out when you're able to make the trip to the dealership and then there's the whole thought of, “Is my car even safe?”
The latest recall affects Idaho truck owners
Vehicle recalls usually mean a defect that could impact your safety on the road, whether it’s a brake issue, a faulty airbag, or a small but crucial component that needs replacing. Manufacturers issue recalls to fix these problems, usually at no cost to you, making it a better option than dealing with a costly repair or worse, a preventable accident.
The latest recall is affecting around 33,777 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup trucks. According to a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is a concern about the electronic stability control system. Apparently, the front wheel hub encoder rings could be damaged which can result in a faulty system.
When you take your vehicle into the dealership, they'll replace the front wheel bearing hub and it should be free of charge.
While it’s tempting to ignore a recall, especially if your truck seems to run fine, remember that addressing the recall could save you money and prevent future headaches. Recalls are about keeping you safe and ensuring your car runs as intended. So, as annoying as it can be to go through the process, a vehicle recall is one headache that’s absolutely worth dealing with for the peace of mind it brings.
