The spooky season is here and it's one of the best times to gather around the fire to share a scary story.

Luckily for you, Idaho has no shortage of creepy encounters to share with your friends and family.

One of Idaho's scariest legends is lurking... somewhere...

If you were to ask someone to name something scary about Idaho that isn't related to money or politics, they might answer with "Bigfoot." And why shouldn't they?

Some people believe Bigfoot to be strong enough to lift and throw boulders that weigh a ton, survive extreme weather conditions, and move at great speeds. We haven't touched on the obvious and that's how big they are.

Some report Bigfoot being as tall as eight feet while others report hearing loud "thuds" as it takes each step.
