If one thing is for certain, it is that Boise residents and folks all across the Treasure Valley for that matter, absolutely LOVE their pets. Go anywhere during any time of the year and you'll spot runners, hikers--and even DRINKERS with their pets.

While scrolling through social media last night, we came across quite the adoption posting. Look, there are a ton of amazing, adorable, and worthy pets up for adoption at the Idaho Humane Society and beyond-- but one little guy in particular is pulling at the Treasure Valley's heart strings.

Bamboo, a 15-year-old chow, was a stray that has been taken care of by the humane society and is now looking for a loving family-- he's deaf, blind, and has some medical issues. BUT LOOK AT THAT SMILE.

In his Idaho Humane Society biography, he is described as:

Calling all Chow lovers! Bamboo came to us as a stray and was a bit of a mess, he's all cleaned up now and ready to join a family that will understand his special needs. Bamboo is a senior, he is blind and deaf with a few other medical issues that a matchmaker can tell you about. He is a sweet, gentle and affectionate dog who is looking for a soft spot to land and a home to call his own, can you help this good ol boy?!

We absolutely love Bamboo and hope that someone in the Treasure Valley will bring him home and give him lots of pets for us. He is a senior dog that deserves some amazing golden years.

The Idaho Humane Society is open 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
