Football season is on all across the country and for most collegiate programs that are four to five games in, outlooks on the post season are already being measured.

For some, course correction is needed...now!

For others, staying the course is the focus.

For all, improving every single day is at the core of their plan, no matter where the team is in their journey.

For the Boise State Broncos, going 1-0 each week while improving along the way is going to go far. The team's season opener was technically a loss, but with a showing as strong as they had on the road at #2 Oregon early on, the Broncos remain just about every expert's top pick to make the College Football Playoff.

One loss and that dream takes a major blow. An unfortunate reality for any mid-major college football team that is only guaranteed one slot in the bracket.

Getting it all done? Leadership. Who are the people that are leading this TEAM to that ultimate goal?

The great Kelvin Sampson comes to mind, in his famous speech outlining his philosophy: players and coaches can win games but administrations win championships.

The head of Boise State's 'administration', Jeramiah Dickey, has become a proven leader since his tenure began and the results are showing. A College Football Playoff appearance, facility upgrades, record-breaking fundraising efforts, and reinvented use for University facilities that have not only helped sports other than football, but entertainment in the greater community.

What's it take to be a leader? Sometimes, it's the little things.

Ahead of kickoff against Utah State last Saturday, October 3rd, while cameras were out and pointed at just about everything BUT Athletic Director Jeramiah Dickey, journalist Alec Simeone captured one of those moments that gave fans, if watching, a 'peek behind the curtain'.

The noise, the production, the flashing lights, the facility; it was all humming. The guy coordinating it all? He was walking the sidelines hugging, hyping, and showing major love to every single contributing member of his team.

THAT is where the magic happens and where championships are won.

Check out the video of Jeramiah Dickey being the ultimate team advocate, below:

Of all of the things to capture pre-game, Boise State beat writer Alec Simeone may have captured the most wholesome.

One respondent said it was 'tremendous' to have captured this.

Boise State went on to dominate Utah State in this game, winning by a score of 37 to 18, 'protecting The Blue' as the program often stresses as a necessity.
